Fog Holler is a bluegrass band with an edge. What gives the band that edge is a topic of hot debate. For some, it’s musicianship - these bluegrass cats shred. For others, it’s the songwriting, traditional in style but topical in substance. Sometimes, they undeniably snare people with the squad factor - folks see 4 grown adults in matching monochrome, and they get curious. The secret, according to Fog Holler, is simply that they write and play bluegrass in 2024 with similar intentions but in a very different context from the genre’s originators. Inspired by a range of influences from The Stanley Brothers to Buck Owens to Meshuggah, Fog Holler breathes fresh life into well-worn forms like the murder ballad and the power waltz. Orkis is the Darkwave Electro-pop project of artist, producer and performer Joseph Lanker, currently based in Portland,OR. The project features indie pop producer JT Lindsey of Glistener and the angelic songstress/vocalist; Casey Hoelting. Bryan Hobein is an artist living and working in Astoria, Oregon. He received a BFA and illustration from the Memphis College of art in 2019. Are you the Silky Nutmeg Ganache of the Pacific Northwest Coast? Then show us what you got, queen, king, or everytone in between! The lip-sync battle begins this Friday at 9:30pm. You don't want to miss this show!

The first 8 contestants are guaranteed a spot. If there is enough interest, we may open it up to 16 spots. Each contestant will be placed in the bracket by random draw and will compete against the contestant in the opposing bracket in the first round. At the end of each round, the winners of the audience secret ballot will be revealed and move on to the next round.

If the bracket is extended to 16 contestants, an additional round will be added, and the finalist must spin a wheel to determine a category. Then they must pick a song at random in that category to lip-sync for the win. So the more contestants, the more drama!
